Businessmen meetings under the TECHFOOD EU - ASIA project
The realization of the TECHFOOD EU-ASIA project has started in September 2007, with the participation of the Kopernikusz Association. The aim of the project is to improve the cooperation of European (Italian, Slovenian and Hungarian) and Asian (Chinese, Vietnamese and Mongolian) small and medium enterprises in food industry and packaging. The project pays special attention to the issues regarding food safety and copyrights. The project included two big businessmen meetings – in Italy in March 2008 and in China in October 2008 – providing a venue for the enterprises to establish new business relationships and cooperations.
COMPASS Conference (EQUAL)
The closing conference of the COMPASS transnational partnership was held on the 26 June, 2007 in Budapest with the title „Directions and good practices of equal opportunities in the labour market”. The presenters included representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Hungarian teleworking Association, Hewitt Human Consulting Ltd ( partner of the project "Family-friendly workplaces and communities"), Fiona Association for Young Women and IBM Data Storage Systems and Information Technologies Ltd. winner of the "Family-friendly Workplace Prize" in 2007. The conference presented the summary of the COMPASS partnership's activity and with the contribution of the presenters it gave place to an intersting debate on improving the opportunities of women on the labour market.
